Day 86- Food Network

Media_httpwillyoubemy_qggpq

Besides satisfying our gourmet appetites, Food Network partners with Share Our Strength to put food in little tummies!

With one single E-mail, I feel as if I’ve tapped into a mega-enterprise that likes to pay it forward. I’ve sent an E-mail to Food Network, which is home to some extremely popular shows (“30-Minute Meals,” “Iron Chef America,” “Ace of Cakes,” “Paula’s Home Cooking,” and “The Essence of Emeril,” to name a few).

Food Network is involved with a specific charity, Share Our Strength. Its mission is to help identify kids who are at-risk for going hungry, and providing them with nutritious food. They have an entire page on the Food Network Web site devoted to Share Our Strengh events and initiatives. You can check that out at: http://www.foodnetwork.com/share-our-strength/package/index.html

I’d like to ask you something now. How do you think “Holdin’ Out for a Hero” could be better? Is there anything we can change about this site or add to it that would attract more people like you? Remember, you can E-mail any and all ideas to:  laurita.tellado@gmail.com.

Also, if you have Twitter, feel free to follow me on there, and ReTweet my Tweets every now and then! My Twitter handle is: @Laurita86.

Thank you all so much for your support. I know Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, and other holidays are coming up, but I would really appreciate it if you could spread the word about this blog, so we don’t lose momentum and readership over the holidays!

Telemundo “Triunfadores” video on YouTube:

May God continually Bless you,

Laurita ♥
