Day 330- Jon Bon Jovi

He may sing about a woman who gives love “a bad name,” but the lead singer of the band Bon Jovi can do no wrong for a good cause!

In fact, it seems the name Jon Bon Jovi is an excellent one to have for different causes. The Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation (formerly called the Philadelphia Soul Charitable Foundation) was founded in 2006 “to combat issues that force families and individuals into economic despair.”

To that end, Bon Jovi has also extensively support Habitat for Humanity , and his foundation partnered with Project H.O.M.E. to rebuild homes in North Philadelphia.

According to Wikipedia (which I love far too much!), he has also done charity work for the American Red Cross, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, and the Special Olympics.

Just the diversity of the projects Bon Jovi undertakes is incredible. I’d like to write to this paragon before he gets snatched up by yet another cause!

On that note, good night everyone, and remember tomorrow to…

“Have a nice day!”

Laurita
